Name: Jenny Pham

Reason for treatment: thoracic back injury from work. Now on WCB.

Physiotherapist: Carman Wong

Treatment involves manual therapy, exercises, acupuncture, and electrical therapy thing,

Frequency: 4-5 times per week since beginning of october 2013

Improvements: I've noticed improvement in my posture, significantly less pain, more mobility, more confidence in myself, and just being able to do more of my daily activities.

My experience has been great so far. I feel I'm very good hands and that there's finally light at the end of this tunnel. The staff are friendly and are very accommodating. I like that when I walk in the girls up front greet me with a  "hey jenny, have a seat" without me having to grab their attention. Carman is great at getting me in even when I'm early, and knows where my pain is when I don't even know. and Cameron is great at getting me to do the exercises right.  Great experience overall.

Name : Kellan Higgins

Age: 28

Reason for Treatment/Injury: Weak shoulder, shooting pain when trying to lift left arm above head

Physiotherapist: Jon Tom Yew

What did your treatment involve (i.e. manual therapy, exercise therapy, pilates, yoga, personal training, IMS, Acupuncture etc.)?

My treatment involved Jon moving the injured arm around and teaching me how to move it properly. I exercised it nightly with an arm band and did various exercises to strengthen the joint.

How often did you come for treatment (i.e. 2 times per week for 3 months)?

Initially once a week until my arm improved and then once a month.

What improvements did you notice?

I was surprised that after a few weeks I was finally able to raise my arm up without a hurt. I was happy to finally be able to open doors with my left hand, no longer favouring my right for most tasks. After 10 visits, my arm was almost completely fine. Really happy to fix something that had been bugging me for so long.
