Core Stabilization Program*
Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic’s Core Stabilization Program is a group oriented exercise class designed to strengthen specific muscles that stabilize the lower back.
This program is perfect for individuals suffering from:
- Back pain
- Postpartum instability
- Poor balance
- Weak abdominal muscles
Informative and interactive, this class will challenge both mind and body. Leave with a strong understanding of the core muscle groups and an exercise regime to help you maintain the results you achieve.

The Work Conditioning Program*
The Work Conditioning Program is a rehabilitation program designed to assist individuals who have sustained musculoskeletal injuries in achieving a safe and sustainable return to work. The conditioning program is an individualized program that is involves education, injury-specific strengthening, cardiovascular and flexibility training, as well as, functional and work-simulated activities. The program is progressed gradually and focus is placed on improving overall functional ability in order to prepare individuals for returning to work and leisure activities.
Personal Training & Education*
People of all ages, body types, and levels of fitness can benefit from the services of a personal trainer. Working with a personal trainer can help you attain your goals. Whether to lose weight, regain flexibility, develop core strength or simply to feel healthy personal training will get you there. We offer various types of training: General conditioning, rehab conditioning, sport specific training, individual, group, and team training, and functional training. Our trainers also work with ICBC and Work Safe BC to help their clients return to a healthy lifestyle.
Personal training sessions run between 60-75 minutes. All clients receive a free 30-minute consultation to establish client history and fitness goals. Clients have a wide variety of training plans from individual sessions to 6, 12, and 20 session packages. Gift certificates are also available.

Sport Conditioning
Today we understand that the nature of sport and daily life requires coordinated movement, full body strength, balance, and overall enhanced mechanics to reduce the chances of injury and improve performance of the human body. Sport conditioning draws upon the secondary characteristics of fitness (balance, agility, coordination, power, speed and reaction) and helps children, adults, athletes and weekend warriors move with greater efficiency and effectiveness. The primary goal is to improve an individual’s ability to develop quick and controlled, yet powerful, deceptive and confident movement patterns that will provide the tools for improved sport skills, tactics and overall performance.
The TWIST Sport Conditioning model is evidence-based and utilizes a neuromuscular and proprioceptive training style that focuses on multi-directional movement skills, speed, agility, quickness, transitional balance, reaction time, multi-joint strength, whole body power initiation, deceleration, and the anaerobic energy system necessary to fuel these movement based skills.
