Strengthen, lengthen, tone and tighten!
Pilates is designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles through a variety of exercises focused on the core. This class will work on improving posture, breath and strength. The workouts use a series of controlled exercises to strengthen the muscles without adding bulk, improving muscular control and body awareness. Every exercise can be modified to a level that is appropriate for you and precise cuing ensures that exercises are taught safely.
For individuals with:
- Poor posture
- Weak core muscles
- Back pain
If you have never tried Pilates before we recommend that you try Pilates Mat 1 before attending level 2 to gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals.
