What is your background & training?
I completed my undergrad at UBC in Arts/Psychology and enjoyed sports psychology, which led to my Doctor of Physiotherapy from The University of Melbourne. I was a Physiotherapist for four years with a varsity Aussie rules football team and spent three years doing climbing, strength and conditioning work. I completed an intensive internship in Melbourne with APPI matwork and STOTT reformer training for Clinical Pilates. I graduated top of my class as valedictorian.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I love helping people achieve their goals and improve their overall health by living active lives. I enjoy anatomy and the promotion of health.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
Treloar has a great team and a great reputation. We have a strong, active approach to rehab which fits with my vision and goals.
What are you personally passionate about?
I enjoy working with active people who are outdoor enthusiasts, enjoy climbing and other sports. I like to help any client, especially post-op patients, achieve and maintain an active lifestyle. I personally love climbing, hiking, cycling, strength training and Olympic lifting.
