Alexia Lee

Physiotherapist

BKin, MPT

What is your background & training?

I completed my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UBC. I have completed the Level 1 certification in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program, am certified in treating running injuries with The Running Clinic, and am currently completing certification in Clinical Pilates with Calibrate.

What inspired you to choose this career path?

I developed a fascination with human movement and the body’s ability to recover through my involvement in sports and working with people of all ages and abilities. Experiencing firsthand how physiotherapy empowers people to overcome injuries and return to their daily lives and passions inspired me to pursue this field!

Why do you choose to work at Treloar?

I started my journey at Treloar Physiotherapy Kerrisdale as a receptionist, where I had the chance to experience the supportive and collaborative culture that makes this clinic so exceptional. Returning as a physiotherapist felt like a natural choice because of the clinic’s commitment to providing the highest quality patient care and continued education for its clinicians.

What are you personally passionate about?

I’m passionate about staying active and enjoy a variety of sports, including running, lifting weights, ultimate frisbee, road biking, skiing and dragon boating. Beyond sports, I love diving into a good book, trying my hand at baking and grabbing a sweet treat from one of Vancouver’s many cafes!
