What is your background & training?
I grew up playing multiple sports, eventually focusing on basketball, playing 5 years for SFU. During this time, I developed a keen interest in strength and conditioning, and overall movement. While coaching basketball at the college & university level, I was also training athletes of all ages and abilities before I moved to Perth, Australia to complete my Master’s of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Through some incredible mentors, I was inspired to study Pilates and did so through Calibrate Clinical Pilates Education.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I am passionate about movement in whatever form that may take. With a sports and coaching background, I also value the opportunity to help people fulfill their physical and wellness goals.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
Having heard nothing but great things about Treloar, I immediately felt welcomed and inspired upon meeting everyone. The culture is something I value as a former team sport athlete, and the opportunities for further education will help me grow as a physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor.
What are you personally passionate about?
I love reading, DIY projects, all forms of movement and most sports, including flag football and most recently, my first attempt at ice hockey!
