What is your background & training?
I completed my Masters of Physiotherapy at University of Queensland in sunny Brisbane, Australia after receiving my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. I have worked in private practice solely, incorporating manual therapy, dry needling, strength and conditioning along with Clinical Pilates. Outside of the clinic, I was a member of the physiotherapy team for a state-league netball team and the national volleyball league in Australia. I have continued my professional development with courses in spinal manual therapy, and a number of hip and groin courses. I enjoy treating persistent neck pain, hip and groin injuries and running-related injuries.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I have always enjoyed working with people and physiotherapy was the perfect profession to merge my passion for activity and sports with helping people push their boundaries and achieve their goals.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
Treloar provides me with an opportunity to work with a diverse team of experienced physiotherapists and kinesiologists. We are committed to providing evidence-based care which is parallel my values in physiotherapy.
What are you personally passionate about?
I’m passionate about being in the mountains and planning the next adventure to push my physical and mental boundaries. Logically, my favorite country is Nepal. There’s just so much exploring to do there! Outside of work, you can find me running, playing board games, drinking my 3rd flat white of the day and likely planning my next adventure abroad!
