What is your background & training?
I studied at SFU and completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Extended Minor in Dance. My background is in ballet, tap, jazz, flamenco and soccer. I have certifications with FMS (Functional Movement) and GLA:D™ Canada.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I first became interested with injury recovery after my own rehab. As a dancer, I was very in tune with how the body can move and the power of movement. I wanted to help others recover through movement and exercises as it helped me. Through my time at Treloar I’ve become more passionate about pain education and getting people to use physical activity and exercise as a pain management tool.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
We are very much a family here and we support each other. There is always something to new to learn from your colleagues.
What are you personally passionate about?
I enjoy hiking, camping and all things outdoors. When I find time, I like to drop in on a ballet or tap class.
