What is your background & training?
In university I played varsity soccer and competed in cross country running. Due to chronic injuries, I swapped my running shoes for bikes and have competed in competitive road and mountain bike races since.
I’ve taken post-graduate physiotherapy course work in manual therapy, trigger point intramuscular stimulation, advanced gait analysis, vestibular rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation (Bobath), Stott Clinical pilates, as well as cervical spine and shoulder rehabilitation workshops.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
As a competitive soccer player and road cyclist, Physiotherapists have played an integral role in helping me overcome various injuries while also optimizing my athletic performance. These experiences have inspired me to pay it forward.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
The Pilates studio and team at Treloar is unparalleled.
What are you personally passionate about?
I enjoy analyzing the root of pain and dysfunction through movement and gait analysis, and creating an individualized treatment plan in consideration of the unique physical requirements of various sports, in particular running and cycling.
