Jyoti Mann
Physiotherapist
BSc, MScPT
What is your background & training?
I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020 from the Physical Therapy program, and the University of Waterloo in 2018 from Kinesiology. I’ve historically been a Personal Trainer, varsity student therapist, soccer coach, and a Strength and Conditioning coach. I am grateful for having had opportunities to work with athletes from the NHL, AAU circuit, OJHL, Ultimate Canada, and MLS.
I am currently going through the Orthopaedic Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program, after having completed Level 2 Lower. I am also working on the Graston Technique certification, after having completed my M1.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
Growing up playing sports and tearing my ACL playing rugby at 15, I was exposed to the world of PT quite early on. I’ve always wanted to work in a career aligned with people and sport, and physiotherapy caught me by surprise by how much it checked my boxes!
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
I choose to work at Treloar because of their reputation as leaders in manual therapy education, and their emphasis on having a positive impact on the community, all while having a supportive and strong team environment.
What are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about empowering every client, weekend warrior, and elite athlete, to achieve their physical activity goals!
Also sports – very passionate about sports.
