Nancy Wang

Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor

BKin, MPT, trained in STOTT Clinical Pilates

What is your background & training?

I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology. I am also trained in STOTT Pilates on the mat and the reformer.

I have worked in a variety of clinical settings. My experience includes orthopaedics (including ICBC, WSBC), cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and neuromuscular rehabilitation in private, inpatient, and outpatient settings. My treatment approach includes manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and clear education.

What inspired you to choose this career path?

I was exposed to physiotherapy as a young child when my mom was in a car accident. I witnessed the impact of physiotherapy on a person’s quality of life and thought it was an amazing career choice.

I understand the importance of movement and strive to empower clients to take charge of their own recovery. My favourite part of physiotherapy is to be fun and creative with exercises, tailoring movement to meet each individual’s needs!

Why do you choose to work at Treloar?

I am a lifelong learner and I believe that Treloar is a great place to learn and grow as a therapist.

What are you personally passionate about?

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy rock climbing, CrossFit, golf, skiing, and running the trails with my furry best friend, Barry!
