What is your background & training?
I completed my Master of Physical Therapy degree at UBC, where I also earned a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Psychology. I’ve finished additional training in clinical pilates, orthopaedic manual therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction. Furthermore, I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher with over four years of experience leading group classes and international retreats.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I was lucky enough to be raised by two professional athletes as parents, and so from a young age, it was instilled in me that the human body is strong, resilient, and capable. I became a physiotherapist to help others recognize their innate resilience, to educate them about their profoundly complex and fascinating bodies, and to bridge the gap between injury and optimal movement experiences. My goal is to bring you back to the activities that make your life vibrant and joyful.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
I love the atmosphere at Treloar; the staff are friendly and welcoming, the clinic is bright and spacious, and my co-workers are lifelong learners who inspire me to keep growing in both my personal and professional life.
What are you personally passionate about?
I am incredibly passionate about outdoor sport and adventure! If I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me skiing at Whistler Blackcomb, practicing yoga at Kits Beach, or hiking one of our beautiful, coastal mountains.
