I completed my Bachelors of Science in the Honours Health Studies, Co-op program at the University of Waterloo. I also received my Gerontology minor and captained the Varsity Women’s Soccer team throughout my undergraduate degree at Waterloo. Moving forward, I completed my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
I have since gained experience in both acute and rehab settings and enjoy treating a variety of clients. I have developed a passion for treating sports related injuries and enjoy progressing my clients in order to get back to their game as soon as possible. Additionally, I am also a Clinical Pilates Instructor and have completed the rehab series of STOTT pilates in both Mat and Reformer.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
Having come from an athletic background and playing Varsity soccer, I have been exposed to the many benefits of physiotherapy. I have always wanted to help others get back to living their healthiest lifestyles and pursue their passions. I love the variety and continuous learning that physiotherapy includes throughout the career.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
Working at Treloar allows me to surround myself with a variety of talented physiotherapists. I wanted to add to my toolbox of treatment options and learn, share knowledge with some very experienced individuals. I enjoy being able to treat a wide variety of clients in a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
What are you personally passionate about?
Outside the clinic, I enjoy living a very active lifestyle whether this be playing soccer, hiking, running, kayaking, snowshoeing or snowboarding. Regardless of the season, you will most likely find me outside exploring the West Coast in my free time.
