What is your background & training?

I have a professional background of 10 years, blending clinical expertise with elite sports experience. My postgraduate skills enable me to provide top-tier concussion and sports physiotherapy care. I worked as a physiotherapist for Chelsea FC Academy in London, UK, managing pitch-side injuries and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Concurrently, I conducted pre-season screenings for the GB Olympic diving team. My passion lies in bringing the drive for success to my diverse private patients, helping them achieve their health and activity goals.

Currently, I am the team physiotherapist for the Vancouver Bandits, a professional basketball team in the CEBL.

My educational background includes an MSc in Sports Medicine Exercise and health from the globally renowned University College London, as well as a FIFA Sports Medicine Diploma. I’ve also worked at prominent teaching hospitals in London. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, London, UK, and a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Fraser Valley. I’ve furthered my postgraduate studies with certifications in corrective exercise specialist, Dry Needling, and the completion of the competency exam for Vestibular Rehabilitation from Duke University School of Medicine.

Recognizing the significance of science and data in healthcare advancement, my research focus centers on data-driven and evidence-based treatments. I’ve presented my research at the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine’s annual fall conference in 2018 and the 6th International Conference on Concussion in Sport in Amsterdam. My presentation explored “The effects of fatigue on the vestibular oculomotor screen (VOMS) in male university rugby and sedentary participants.” I’ve applied this specialization practically by working with U-sports and Olympic snowboard athletes in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation.
