What is your background & training?
I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. I have gained physiotherapy experience in a number of countries including Canada, the USA, Spain and the UK, allowing me to build various techniques and approaches when helping individuals meet their rehabilitative goals.
I have completed extensive Pelvic Health training to treat men and women experiencing bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction as well as completing courses in Pelvic Health Solutions and Rost Therapy. In addition, I have completed Clinical Pilates courses, including the STOTT matwork and reformer rehabilitation courses.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
Having come from an active background, I pursued a career in Physiotherapy. While on the path to physiotherapy, I worked in research with prenatal individuals and gained clinical experience with Women’s Health issues. Assisting individuals improve their quality of life and reach their goals inspired me to specialize in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation for both men and women.
