BSc, RAc

What is your background & training?

I graduated from Pacific Rim College’s 3-year Diploma of Acupuncture program in 2016, and completed the national board exams to become a licensed member of the BC regulatory board, CTCMA.  I previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Victoria in 2010.

Acupuncture training:

  • Maternity acupuncture (fertility, conception, pre/post-natal) with Debra Betts
  • Sports Acupuncture with Whitfield Reaves
  • Balance Method with Dr. Sonia Tan
  • Applied Channel Theory with Jason Robertson

What inspired you to choose this career path?

When I see friends and family have little success with Western Medicine and pharmaceuticals, I wanted to help them with a more holistic and natural approach. I had wished to find a career where I could help people, problem solve, and be hands-on.

Why do you choose to work at Treloar?

There are great opportunities to collaborate with very skilled and knowledgeable physiotherapists at Treloar, and I love being able to complement the fantastic job they do for patients with Traditional Chinese Medicine. The team feels more like family than co-workers.

What are you personally passionate about?

I am personally passionate about self-care, mental health awareness, and good food. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, knitting, and hanging out with my dog. 🙂
