Natalie Constantin
Physiotherapist, Pelvic Floor Therapist
MSc PT, Pelvic Floor Therapy
What is your background & training?
I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McGill University and went on to complete my Master’s in Physical Therapy from McMaster University. I have a background in acute care rehabilitation in a wide variety of areas including oncology, orthopedic trauma, burns, intensive care, and spinal cord injuries. I am also a certified yoga instructor.
When I moved from Halifax, NS to Vancouver, BC last year, I made the exciting decision to pursue a career in pelvic health! I completed post-graduate training in the treatment of pelvic health conditions including incontinence/leakage, prolapse, dyspareunia, and pelvic pain for all genders.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I was inspired to become a physiotherapist after having my own experience rehabilitating from an injury. My physiotherapist at the time was hugely influential towards my outlook on recovery during a challenging period of my life and I will always be grateful for that. I love working with people to achieve their functional goals.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
I was drawn to Treloar’s network of experienced clinicians and their strong mentorship program. The variety of services offered at Treloar, such as Pilates, concussion rehabilitation, and running assessments is amazing as it allows for collaboration between professionals with different skill sets to help clients achieve their goals.
What are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about providing inclusive and trauma informed care to people with pelvic health conditions education, exercise, and manual therapy. I strive to empower people to learn more about their bodies and help them achieve their goals. Outside of work I enjoy running along on the sea wall, taking yoga classes, hiking mountains, and trying new restaurants!
