Jade Han
Registered Massage Therapist
What is your background & training?
I graduated from Vancouver Career College , where I completed a comprehensive massage therapy program. During my training, I gained hands-on experience in various techniques, including deep tissue massage and myofascial release. Before pursuing massage therapy, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. While it may seem like a different field, my engineering background taught me problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of how systems work—which translates well into understanding the human body and addressing clients’ needs. I’m passionate about helping people feel their best, and I’m excited to bring my unique background and training to patient’s treatment.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
I’ve always been passionate about health and wellness, and my interest in massage therapy began when I received my first massage after a long period of stress. The experience was trans-formative—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I realized I wanted to help others achieve that same sense of relief and balance. I love that massage therapy allows me to combine my interest in anatomy with my desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to see clients leave a session feeling rejuvenated and empowered.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
I chose to work at Treloar because I deeply value a collaborative approach to healthcare. I admire how Treloar brings together various therapists to provide comprehensive care, which I believe is essential for addressing the diverse needs of clients. I am particularly impressed by Treloar’s commitment to patient-centered care and focus on continuous learning and improvement. I’m excited about the opportunity to work alongside a diverse team of therapists, share knowledge, and grow in my practice while ultimately contributing to better clients outcomes.
What are you personally passionate about?
I’m personally passionate about a few things that keep me balanced and inspired. First, I love learning—whether it’s picking up a new skill, reading, or staying curious about the world around me. I also enjoy tending to orchids, which has taught me patience and the value of consistent care. Sewing is another hobby of mine, I love the creativity and precision it requires. When I’m not indoors, I’m usually out riding my bike or hiking new trails—being in nature helps me recharge and stay connected to the world around me. Most importantly, I’m passionate about spending quality time with my family and friends. Those moments of connection and support are what keep me grounded and motivated in everything I do.
