Renée Houle
(She/Her)
Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor
BKin, MPT
What is your background & training?
I completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Queen’s University, followed by a Master’s in Physiotherapy at McGill University. I’m certified in Clinical Pilates and have completed additional training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, including the treatment of urinary incontinence, dyspareunia, and care during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
What inspired you to choose this career path?
Throughout my bachelor’s I volunteered with a community-based exercise program for people living with disabilities. During this time, I saw firsthand how much exercise could improve quality of life and overall happiness. This inspired me to pursue a career in physiotherapy, where I could continue empowering people to regain independence and enhance wellbeing.
Why do you choose to work at Treloar?
I am drawn to Treloar’s emphasis on lifelong learning, mentorship, collaboration, and their excellent Pilates program.
What are you personally passionate about?
I love snowboarding, hiking, biking, and beach volleyball. Anything that will get me outdoors!
