What is your background & training?

I am a born-and-raised Vancouverite and was for many years an Internationally ranked, competitive Irish Dancer. I completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology, followed by a Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. I have a love for learning which has propelled me to immerse myself in many courses over the years! I have completed my advanced training in manual therapy and I am a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), I am qualified in STOTT Rehabilitative Matwork and Reformer Pilates, as well as Dry Needling. I am also a certified Irish Dance Teacher (TCRG), and have a special interest in working with a broad range of dancers and all athletes.

What inspired you to choose this career path?

My first encounter to physiotherapy was due to dance injuries, and it was through successive treatments that I experienced the powerful role that physiotherapists can play in someone’s life. I’ve always loved exercising and movement, and it’s truly the best feeling when I can help someone get back to their sport and activities, and empower them to move better

Why do you choose to work at Treloar?

I love being part of a team, and Treloar has the absolute best team. It’s a work environment where the therapists continually elevate each other’s practices and support one another.

What are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about human movement, rehabilitation, and connecting with people; and I am committed to developing a balanced treatment strategy designed to help you overcome your challenges and meet your unique health, well-being, and performance goals!

I am also an adventurer at heart and love exploring. Outside of the office you’ll find me surfing, hiking, playing beach volleyball, playing tennis and walking my Bernedoodle in Pacific Spirit Park.
