What is your background & training?

I graduated from UBC in 2003 and completed the Advanced Diploma of Orthopaedic and Manipulative Therapy in 2009.  I am certified to practice Medical Acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).

I currently sit on the Physiotherapy Association of BC (PABC) Board of Directors. I have past experience on the PABC Business Affairs Council and Acupuncture Canada Council.

I have experience as a teaching assistant with the BC Orthopaedic Division and UBC Physiotherapy Department.  I have also served as a physiotherapist for UBC Thunderbirds Hockey.

I have a special interest in treating acute and complex spinal pain including the low back, mid back, and neck.  I also have extensive experience treating lower leg injuries involving the hip, knee, ankle, and foot.

What inspired you to choose this career path?

A desire to help others, an interest in the human body, and a profession that seemed challenging yet fun.

What are you personally passionate about?

Enjoying time with family and friends, and anything hockey!
