Reina Stewart

Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates

What is your background & training?

I grew up on Vancouver Island and completed a Bachelor
of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria.
Soon after, I moved to Vancouver to complete the Master
of Physical Therapy program at the University of British
Columbia. During the program, I also obtained a Level 1
Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and
Manipulative Physiotherapy. I then completed the
Calibrate Clinical Pilates course.

What inspired you to choose this career path?

During my undergraduate years, I volunteered with diverse
populations in hospital and private-practice settings.
Through these experiences, I developed a keen interest in
helping individuals return to the activities that are
important to them. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help others
enhance their well-being and daily functioning.

Why do you choose to work at Treloar?

During the Master of Physical Therapy program, I was
lucky to carry out a clinical placement at Treloar and learn
from various physiotherapists at this clinic. I was struck by
their skillfulness and knowledge, as well as their
exceptional communication with clients and one another. I
feel grateful to be a part of the team at Treloar.

What are you personally passionate about?

I’m enthusiastic about doing what brings me joy and
supporting others to do the same. I love being outdoors,
running, playing the harp, crafting, practicing Pilates, and
spending time with family and friends.
